| We are an
anglingclub in Holland. The name of our city is Spijkenisse, in
theSouth-West part of Holland. We are a freshwater club. In our club we have several committees, like as a match, youth, carp and ladies. History The club started in 1948, the 24th of January. Every year we have about 2.200 members. The club is a member of N.V.V.S. and the federation of South-West Holland region Rotterdam. Region and waters. In the region of Spijkenisse, there is enough freshwater. Some of the waters are known by the matchanglers. The waters we use for our competition are; Voornse canal, Spui (river), Bernisse (canal, Brielse maas (lake) and Voedingscanal. Some small information about the waters. Voornse canal:(blue) Is a small canal (35 meters wide) and in lenght 9 kms. The depth is 3 till 6 meters. The best period for fishing is April till October. You can catch, breams, roach, pikes, perch and some others. It's a great water for feader, match and float angling. Spui:(green) This is a big streaming water. The water connects the Oude Maas and the Haringvliet. It is a wide water. The depth is 2 till 15 meters. The best period is June till October. The fish you catch a strong. Beside the breams and roach, it's a great wather for perch, eel and pike-perch. Bernisse:(yellow) This canal connect het Spui with the Voedingscanal. The water is about 10 kms long en 35 mtrs wide. However there are some hotspots where the water is much wider. One of the best places is Stompaerd lake. The depth is 1 till 2,50 mtrs. The fish you can catch are Bream, roach, carp, eel, pike, pike-eel and there is a special part for trout. Herefor you need to pay. Brielse maas:(black) This is a lake at the end of the Voedingscanal. It's a wide water and about 15 kms. Long. The depth is 2 till 8 mtrs. There are several hotspots. This water is populair for pike and carp angling. You can catch bream and roach in the months June till October. Voedingscanal:(white) This canal start by the Oude Maas in Spijkenisse and ends in the Brielse maas by Zwartewaal. It's a wide canal, about 60 mtrs. The depth is 1,5 mtr till 4 mtrs. The fish you can catch are breams, roach, pike, carp and pike-perch. The best months are June till August. |

Ons Genoegen has only a year permission. You can fish in all the
waters in the region of Spijkenisse, and in a lot of waters in Holland. The costs of a permission is € 18,50. For sale in the local tackleshops . |
